New Old Masters Websites

Park West Gallery® recently launched three new websites devoted to the “Masters,”– Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt Van Rijn and Salvador Dali. Park West created these sites as a further resource for collectors and for those seeking a deeper level of knowledge about these artists and their works. Through these sites, Park West continues its 40-year mission of bringing a greater appreciation of art and artists to the world.

“There is an overwhelming amount of information about these artists and their works,” said Morris Shapiro, Gallery Director for Park West. “We believe we’ve been successful in focusing the content of these sites to really enhance the experience of collecting for our clients, and to broaden the knowledge of the general public about the works featured in the Park West collection.”

Pablo Picasso
Features extensive info on the 347 Series (the last hand-signed etchings and engravings Picasso ever produced) and the Suite Vollard (regarded as some of Picasso’s greatest graphic achievements).

Rembrandt van Rijn
Features extensive info on the Millennium Impressions, provenance of Rembrandt’s copper plates, the etching process, a timeline of the artist's life and work, and info on the current market for Rembrandt etchings.

We have to ask: How can an artist of such power, possessing spectacular technical genius and an unparalleled ability to communicate and touch so many, be so often dismissed by those who claim to wield the power of judgment as to what is and isn’t “art”?

There is a disconnect, a separation (more like a chasm) in the art world between the arbiters of what is and isn’t “art” and the American people...Read the Full Article

Park West Artists at Sea

Noah’s Art: Incandenscent Beauty, Inconceivable Perfection

By Megan, Cruise Ship Art Auctioneer

The age and majesty of Venice emanates a certain sense of inconceivable perfection. The art of Noah does the same. Noah arrived onboard the Celebrity Summit in Naples, Italy, for a trip filled with firsts. As a featured guest artist onboard the ship, Noah was both new to cruising and to Park West Gallery, who provided the remarkable opportunity to premiere his art on the high seas...

Simon Bull

By Erin, Cruise Ship Art Auctioneer

Setting his surroundings ablaze with brushstrokes, Simon Bull is an electric interpreter of an eclectic resolve, and it’s little wonder that his recent cruise aboard the Celebrity Infinity kicked off with a fire drill. While many eyes affixed to windows and whales, Infinity guests similarly found wide eyed wonders aboard. Sponsored by art power house, Park West Gallery, Simon Bull’s cruise produced a fleet of new and re-inspired art enthusiasts...
